Our training instructors have achieved Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) certification and are authorised by Microsoft to deliver training based on official Microsoft Learning products and Microsoft Dynamics Courseware.

Microsoft Certified Trainers (MCTs) are the premier technical and instructional experts in Microsoft products, technologies, and solutions. MCTs are the only individuals that Microsoft authorizes to deliver training that is based on Official Microsoft Learning Products or Microsoft Dynamics Learning Products for the MCT program.

Dynamics AX application courses

Course 80020A: Introduction to Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009

This two-day instructor-led course provides students with the knowledge and skills to maneuver within Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009. The course focuses on basic modules and functionality, user interfaces, number sequences, tools and command menus, basic installation, and differentiating features.

This is the first course in the Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 curriculum and will serve as the entry point for other Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 courses.

Course 80016A: Financials I in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009

This three-day instructor-led course provides students with the knowledge and skills to set up the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Bank Modules of Microsoft Dynamics AX, and how to create transactions.

Course 80017A: Financials II in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009

This two-day instructor-led collection explores the advanced financial functionality of Microsoft Dynamics AX. Some topics that are covered include the setup and usage of budgeting, cash flow management, multicurrency, intercompany, and consolidated accounting. Additionally, students learn multiple advanced payment options, XBRL taxonomy, customer account statements, collection letters, interest, year-end close functionality, and financial statements. This course is an extension of the Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Financials I collection.

Course 80018A: Fixed Assets in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009

This two-day instructor-led course provides students with the knowledge and skills to use the Fixed Assets functions in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009. The course focuses on the various setup requirements for Fixed Assets, transactions, and reports and inquiries.

Course 80024A: Trade and Logistics I in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009

This three-day instructor-led course, Trade and Logistics I in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009, provides students with the necessary tools and resources to perform basic tasks in the trade and inventory flow in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009.

Course 80025A: Trade and Logistics II in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009

The two-day Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Trade & Logistics II, course introduces advanced Trade & Logistics functionality in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009. Series 2 builds on information taught in Series 1 that serves as an introduction to Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Trade & Logistics functionality. Series 2 covers Item Reservations, Customer and Vendor Trade Agreements, Request For Quote, Purchase Requisition, Sales Quotation, Quality Management, Transfer Orders, Commissions, Inventory Journals and Inventory Reports.

This two-day instructor-led course provides students with the knowledge and skills to work with Bills of Materials in a non-production environment.

Course 50193A: CRM in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009

This two-day instructor-led course provides students with the knowledge and skills to implement, adjust or use the CRM module of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009. It assumes that participants have a working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX.

Dynamics AX development courses

Course 80011A: Development I in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009

This two day instructor led course introduces the student to the Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 MorphX development environment. This course develops your understanding of the integrated development environment of the Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 MorphX Development Suite. By learning the basics of MorphX, you will understand the building blocks of the Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 solution. These are necessary toward building customizations to add to a customer’s final solution.

Course 80012A: Development II in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009

This 2-day course introduces the student to development in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 using X++. This course starts with learning the basics of X++ and its relationship to object-oriented programming in addition to the tools that are required to develop in Microsoft Dynamics AX. The student then learns more about specific control structures, accessing the database using X++, and handling exceptions in Microsoft Dynamics AX. This course is meant to be an introductory course to development in Microsoft Dynamics AX using X++.

Course 80013A: Development III in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009

This three day course introduces the student to advanced development in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 using X++ and development tools. This course begins with learning the development environment and tools including application architecture, code security, creating help files and transferring modifications between applications. The student will then learn more about Fetch of data from the database, Classes, Forms and Reports. The exercises included in this course will focus on typical additions to and modifications of the standard application. This course is meant to be a more advanced course covering practical development in Microsoft Dynamics AX.

Course 80014A: Development IV in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009

This four-day Development IV in Microsoft Dynamics AX course teaches the student advanced X++ development techniques and examines how the Microsoft Dynamics AX application is structured.

It covers both technical and application specific areas of Microsoft Dynamics AX. The technical section ensures that the student has obtained all necessary technical knowledge before progressing to the application specific section. It only covers areas that have not been included in Microsoft Dynamics AX Development classes I, II & III.
The application specific section aims at helping the student understand the more complicated processes within Microsoft Dynamics AX. The training material is useful as a reference when a refresher of the process is needed. It covers six key Microsoft Dynamics AX modules; Ledger, Trade, Inventory, Production, Project and Workflow, and goes into detail about the technical aspects of some of the main functions within each of these modules.

Course 80015A: Enterprise Portal Development in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009

This three-day course introduces the student to Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Enterprise Portal. This course begins with the basic installation and configuration of Enterprise Portal. The student will then learn about the development environment of Enterprise Portal and will be able to build a functional Web site using new and existing Enterprise Portal application objects. Because Enterprise Portal in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 is dependent on Windows SharePoint Services, much of this course works within SharePoint Services.

Course 8913B: Applications in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0

This three-day instructor-led course, Applications in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0, provides students with the necessary tools to use Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0. The course focuses on the user interface and application functionality, specifically: Sales, Marketing Automation, Service, and Service Scheduling.

Course 80003A. Workflow in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0

This one-day instructor-led course describes how to create, run, and monitor workflows to automate business processes. The course emphasizes out-of-box workflow functionality. This course covers basic concepts, creating a basic workflow, the design process, updating triggers, conditional branching advanced and multi-stage workflows, monitoring workflows and workflow security.

The course also focuses on using workflows in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 to automate the sales process, lead promotion and probable revenue. Extending and upgrading workflows and data migration and workflows are not covered in detail in this course, but are introduced to provide students with insight into potential advanced workflow topics.
